Kitchen Remodel Update

How did I miss the entire month of October without a post! I guess that is a testament to how busy things are right now. I was thinking I would so just one big post but I think rather than do that I will just do a lot of shorter posts to get caught up.

The easy place to start is our kitchen. We are done with the remodel and have moved on to a couple of other projects that are still in progress.

We could not be happier with the final outcome of the kitchen.



This area was previously completely closed off to the living room and only had a single door to the dining area.


We love the white cabinets and the green subway tile. The countertop is a honed granite that has a slight texture to it.


This is a view from the dining room which was previously closed off except for a single door.


We also took the opportunity to open up the kitchen to the entry hall. This is a view from the hallway where previously there was a wall and single door.



Finally the new sink and back door. I really like how both of these items turned out.

Like I said we could not be happier with the results. The contractors were great, they completed the project on time and on budget! We have entertained three times already and are extremely happy with the results!

We moved from the kitchen to the dining room and dog room and one small side project which I'll post about as they are done. The dining room is 99.5% done so that post will be coming soon.
